Choreography for me is about having something to say - Make the audience think - Get in touch with them - Take them on a journey whether that be abstract or narrative - A beginning - An end - Make them laugh, cry, feel - Surprise them - Help them understand the music - Give them highs and lows - Let them breathe - Keep them entertained - Give them the space to absorb - Think about what you're saying - And mostly how you're saying it - Does it come across? - Never stop until you are happy - Make it complete.
Stina created a curtain raiser performance for 30 students including English National Ballet's Youth company. Unsilenced was performed at Sadler's Wells on 16 April.
Stina's latest work for the company was for the annual fundraising gala in March, She choreographed two new work for an in the round stage.
